FREE WHEEL 2013 04 18
This FREE WHEEL program was first broadcast on FSK 93 FM, 101.4 on cable and of course streaming over the Internet at fsk-hh.org.
On Free Wheel today we have some news about the dead and gone Margaret Thatcher, from The Real News Network, about how she gave more power to finance and how under her rule the poor became poorer.
Later on in the program there is a radio play entitled Fortune Hunters, and a nice bit of comedy from Bill Hicks. Then right at the end of the program, an excerpt from an American TV program called The Newsroom. This is an excerpt from an episode that ran last year before the election, and it is a searing condemnation of the Tea Party movement in America. The Newsroom was created by Aaron Sorkin, an Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning American screenwriter, producer, and playwright, whose works include A Few Good Men, The West Wing, Charlie Wilson's War, The Social Network and Moneyball.
The music in between the talking is by Warren Zevon, Jackson Browne and Joni Mitchell.
So sit back, relax and enjoy FREE WHEEL.
I’ll talk to you again, later!
